Xiaomi has rolled out the Android 13 update to many of its flagship devices in the last quarter of 2023. Redmi Note 8/Pro is the next device to receive the Android 13 update based on MIUI 14. If your device is running on stock ROM, you can update it through the OTA method, and if you are running on custom ROM, you can check out the process below to manually update your Redmi Note 8 to Android 13.
Xiaomi has a vast user base due to its budget-friendly smartphones. Many users move to custom ROMS due to the native operating system MIUI, which is quite heavily customized. However, the developers at Xiaomi work hard to make the MIUI ROM smooth with each update. The company has even planned to remove the bloatware apps with the latest updates in future.
Try the Xiaomi Flash Tool process if the Internal way does not work. Most of the time, it gives you a high success rate. You can use the Xiaomi Flash Tool method when you accidentally bricked your mobile. You can use this method to Remove root access from your mobile and bring back Stock Recovery. There are a lot of features like Adaptive Brightness, Adaptive Battery, and many UI enhancements.

Final Words
Use the Internal memory or Stock recovery-based method if you are in Stock firmware. It is comfortable and safe; You can update it like a Regular OTA Update. But if you already use Rooted devices, you can try the TWRP-based method. Don’t download third-party apps; sometimes, it may trigger the update process.
There are a lot of new Gestures available in this update; try them also. In my opinion, When you hate MIUI, You can try to root your Xiaomi Redmi Note 8/Pro and install custom ROMs. They are better to compare with some other Custom Skin OS. But the new MIUI is better. So try to use this OS instead of a Custom OS. But the decision is your choice.
I want to root my device.
